The signposted circuit of the ramparts is one of our favourite walks in Metz. Don't miss this timeless walk through the Porte des Allemands, a small fortress, and take the time to linger at the Belvedere of the Fort de Bellecroix to admire the magnificent view of Saint-Etienne's cathedral and the old town.
